What this site collects
This website does not ask you to create an account, and it has no forms that send information to us through the site. We do not run analytics software, advertising trackers or marketing pixels, and the site does not set cookies of its own.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, as nearly every web host does. Those logs record the IP address of the device requesting a page, the date and time, the page requested, and the browser and operating system reported by that device. We use them only to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to identify you.
When you contact us
The telephone number and email address on this site are ordinary contact details. If you call or write to us, we hold what you send for as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence.
Services operated by others
Several things on this site are run by other companies. When you use them, you are dealing with that company, under its own privacy policy, and information passes to it rather than to us through this website.
- TaxDome hosts our client portal. Following the Client Portal link takes you to gordoncpas.taxdome.com.
- Converge, a service of Elavon, handles online payments. Make A Payment sends you to Converge's secure hosted page, where you enter the payment details. Card numbers are entered on Converge's page, not on ours, and we never see or store them here.
- CPA Site Solutions supplies the newsletter, tax center, financial calculators and reports pages, which are displayed inside this site from their servers.
- Google Maps supplies the map on the Contact page, and Google Fonts supplies two typefaces. Both mean your browser makes a request to Google, which receives your IP address.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Children
This site is intended for adults and for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can browse this site without giving us anything. Your browser can block third-party content, though the map and the resource pages will not display if you do. If you would like to know what information we hold about you, or you would like it corrected or deleted, write to us using the details below and we will respond.
